Kiyoshi Okubo

Kiyoshi Okubo brings to E12 Ventures a broad range of expertise in terms of venture investments, joint ventures, complex financial business modeling and CVC activities. He joined Mitsui & Co. Global Investment, Inc. (MGI) as President and CEO in June 2020. Previously Kiyoshi was dedicated to the strategy planning of CVC initiatives of Mitsui & Co where he actively invested in advanced hardware manufacturers, creating spinoffs from IT enterprises, at the corporate investment arm of Mitsui & Co, Ltd. (former organization of MGI)

He played a proactive role in the conception and launch of E12 Ventures working closely with our corporate LP’s.

Earlier in his career he was assigned to several key roles in Financial & New Business Unit (former organization of Corporate Development BU in which MGI belongs) of Mitsui & Co., including the dept. GM in a leasing Company of Mitsui & Co group, the dept. GM of the Financial & New Business Dept. in Mitsui & Co. Asia Pacific and the dept. GM of Asset Management Business Dept. of Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
